Suspect Sought in Fatal Central Valley 7-Eleven Shooting

LAS VEGAS (KXNT) – Las Vegas police officers are searching for the suspect who gunned down a man in the parking lot of a central valley convenience store during an argument early Thursday, authorities reported.

Officers arrived at the 7-Eleven store at 2877 East Charleston Boulevard just before 2 a.m. to investigate reports of gunshots to find a man near the front of the store with multiple gunshot wounds, according to a Las Vegas Metro Police Department statement.

The victim was taken to University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

Homicide investigators believe the victim arrived at the store with two others before getting into an argument with the suspect in the parking lot. The gunman pulled the weapon and shot the victim several times before fleeing the scene.

The suspect was last seen in a silver late-model 4-door sedan, possible a Mazda. Video surveillance footage captured the suspect inside the store as well as some of the exchange outside.

Anyone with information about the killing was asked to contact the LVMPD Homicide Section at 702-828-3521, or by email at
