HENDERSON, Nev. (KXNT) – Henderson police investigators have arrested two men in connection with an argument over a debt that led to gunfire outside a Henderson fast food restaurant Monday evening, leaving two people wounded.
Marc Anthony Sanchez and Rhanel Immanual-David Ray were taken into custody by Henderson police officers Tuesday, just a day after the shooting outside the Wendy’s on the 11000 block of South Eastern Avenue, according to a Henderson Police statement.
Investigators believe Sanchez and Ray, both 19, approached four people leaving the restaurant and exchanged words, allegedly over a $200 debt, before pulling guns and firing several shots and the victims in the parking lot.
Two men suffered gunshot wounds, one to his thigh, the other to his abdomen. Both victims were transported to Sunrise Hospital, one with critical injuries, however both men were expected to recover from their wounds.
Sanchez was arrested during a traffic stop, while Ray was apprehended outside a Henderson apartment Tuesday evening. Both men now face two counts each of attempted murder.
