LAS VEGAS (KXNT) – The Oakland Raiders have officially commenced the process of getting to know more about its potential new neighbors in Nevada.
An 83-question survey has been sent to more than 10,000 addresses in the Las Vegas Metro Chamber of Commerce’s database Monday. The survey addresses issues like potential interest in a move, whether a new Las Vegas stadium should be domed and seating preferences at the new venue.
Despite increased talks of a possible Raiders move to Las Vegas, the Chamber has taken no official position yet on the proposed deal. Chamber President and CEO Kristin McMillan currently serves as a member of the Southern Nevada Tourism Infrastructure Committee, which is expected to make an official recommendation on any stadium construction proposals by late July.
