One Hurt in Mobile Home Fire West of LV Strip

LAS VEGAS (AP) — A fire official says one person was hospitalized with burn injuries after a weekend fire at a mobile home in a complex a few blocks west of the Las Vegas Strip.

Deputy Clark County Fire Chief Jeff Buchanan says firefighters quickly doused flames after they were called a little after 1 a.m. Sunday to the complex off Twain Avenue near Arville Street.

The injured person was taken to University Medical Center. The extent of his or her injuries weren’t immediately reported.

Buchanan says the cause of the fire is being investigated.
