LAS VEGAS (AP) — Officials say 19 people have been displaced after a Las Vegas apartment fire.
KSNV-TV reports that the Sunday evening fire near the Las Vegas Strip caused more than $500,000 in damages.
More than 50 Clark County firefighters worked in shifts to contain the flames in triple-digit heat on the 300 block of East Harmon Avenue.
No one was injured. One cat was rescued from the second floor and treated with oxygen.
The American Red Cross of Southern Nevada is helping the displaced residents, including 15 adults and four children.
Investigators are still trying to determine the cause of the fire.
