( Las Vegas, NV ) – Cell phones all over southern Nevada were lit up early Friday by an Amber Alert for two children who had reportedly been taken by their biological but non-custodial parents.
The first of three alerts didn’t provide any details, causing concern among many awakened in the middle of the night.
A second alert indicated that 3-year-old Marea Montoya and her 11-month-old sister Cynthia had been taken from Salt Lake City, Utah by their parents, Christopher and Monica Montoya, and could be almost anywhere in the southwest, possibly headed toward Las Vegas.
The third alarm indicated that the Amber Alert was being cleared because all four had been located in New Mexico.
No other details are available.
