LAS VEGAS (AP) — Chick-Fil-A plans to open its first Las Vegas store just west of the Strip next year.
The Las Vegas City Council on Wednesday approved plans for the company to open its new location.
It will reportedly be on Sahara just west of the I-15 freeway, possibly across the street from the Palace Station hotel.
There had been speculation that the chain’s first southern Nevada location might be in Henderson.
The Atlanta-based company announced in June that it would open its first southern Nevada store by early 2017. It also said it plans to open up to 10 locations in Nevada over the next five years.
