LAS VEGAS (AP) — Officials say roads will be slick and winds are on the way after a wet weekend in Las Vegas.
The National Weather Service says more showers are in the forecast for Monday, and that thunderstorms are possible before the storm system slowly moves to the east.
After that, look for gusty winds up to 30mph through the evening hours..
The Weather Service has a Winter Weather Advisory in effect until 4pm for areas above 5,000 feet.
Slippery conditions caused the Nevada Departent of Transportation to briefly close State Highway 158 between Kyle Canyon and Lee Canyon on Mt Charleston.
