LAS VEGAS (AP) — Federal prosecutors say a 46-year-old woman and a co-defendant could face decades in federal prison for their roles in 13 bank and store robberies in southern Nevada two years ago.
U.S. Attorney Daniel Bogden announced Wednesday that getaway driver Sesley Williams of Las Vegas was convicted Friday of eight bank robbery, five interference with commerce by robbery and five brandishing a firearm charges.
She’s scheduled for sentencing May 21 by U.S. District Judge Andrew Gordon.
A co-defendant, Anthony Jordan, was convicted at trial in November of 13 robbery and firearm charges in the same case.
He’s due for sentencing March 19.
Bogden says the two robbed banks and outlet mall stores in Las Vegas, Henderson, and Primm before they were arrested by a joint police and FBI task force.
