(North Las Vegas, NV)–Detectives need help identifying a man involved in a North Las Vegas case.
On Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at about 7:29 a.m., officers responded to a convenience store located in the 300 block of West Lake Mead Boulevard in reference to a disturbance. Witnesses reported a man entered the store and exited the store a few minutes later without purchasing anything.
The suspect then approached a man at one of the gas pumps and offered to sell him a bottle of alcohol. The victim refused, which led to an argument. The suspect allegedly pulled out a pocket knife in a threatening manner. It was reported that the suspect lunged at the man in an attempt to cut him, but was unsuccessful. Using the knife, the suspect then cut the victim’s tires before fleeing the scene in a white 4-door vehicle westbound on Lake Mead Boulevard. The victim was not injured.
The suspect is described as a 35-year-old African American male, about 6’01”, 180 lbs., last seen wearing a black beanie hat, black hooded sweater, black sunglasses, and dark colored pants.
