(Las Vegas, NV) — The former Debbie Reynolds Hotel is closing its doors. The Clarion Resort shuts down on Tuesday.

The “Las Vegas Advisor” says workers were notified about closing a month ago. The hotel casino first opened in 1970 as the Royal Inn and has seen a number of owners. It was once owned by Debbie Reynolds. She bought it in 1992, but the entertainer filed for bankruptcy five years later.
