(Las Vegas, NV) — The former Debbie Reynolds Hotel is closing its doors. The Clarion Resort shuts down on Tuesday.
The “Las Vegas Advisor” says workers were notified about closing a month ago. The hotel casino first opened in 1970 as the Royal Inn and has seen a number of owners. It was once owned by Debbie Reynolds. She bought it in 1992, but the entertainer filed for bankruptcy five years later.
The property is just off the strip at Convention Center Drive and Paradise, its currently operated by the Clarion hotel chain. Once its closed, the hotel may be imploded.
