(Las Vegas, KXNT)- In just a few hours, Las Vegas’ newest property will open its doors to the public. The SLS Las Vegas is the new face on the north end of the strip, replacing what was once the legendary Sahara Hotel.
The property, smaller by Las Vegas standards, has more than 1,600 rooms, 9 restaurants, two pools and a casino. While the entire building has been renovated, vintage Vegas is still very much part of the scene. Vintage imagery has been placed on walls and carpet, reminding visitors of Las Vegas’ history.
The hotel features a number of popular restaurants including the famous Griddle Cafe, Katsuya and Umami Burger. Bazaar Meat also has a table game area that allows patrons to eat and gamble in the same area. Other major talkers include a scratch and sniff wall as well as graffiti wall signed by employees.
The SLS Las Vegas is holding a private VIP party tonight with celebrity guests including Aaron Paul, Chuck Lidell, and Sharon Stone.
The hotel will then open to the public at midnight.
