(Las Vegas, NV) — It will take you about 15 to 20 minutes less to get to Grand Canyon West. The road leading there is now complete. Officials from the State of Arizona and the Hualapai Tribe held an official ribbon cutting today.
Diamond Bar Road is 12.7 miles long. It will make the commute to Grand Canyon West only an hour and a half from Las Vegas. Jennifer Turner, the CEO of Grand Canyon Resort Corporation, says they hope the opening of this road will lead to more tourism, and a possible hotel in the area.
Grand Canyon West is home to the glass bridge Sky Walk.
