Alleged Cell Phone Smuggling For Strip Shooter
(Las Vegas, NV) — Three women accused of trying to smuggle a cell phone into a state prison for accused Strip shooter Ammar Harris made their first court appearances.
Prosecutors allege Olga Gonzalez, Reann Gadson and Charmain Simmons helped buy two phones, put them into a fast-food chicken box, then bribed a corrections officer to get the devices into the High Desert State Prison outside Las Vegas.
All three will be back in court August 20th.
Harris faces murder charges in the February 2013 shooting and accident on Las Vegas Boulevard that left three people dead.
He has been moved to the Ely State Prison.
