NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev. (AP) — A shooting in North Las Vegas has left one teenager dead and another wounded.

Investigators say they arrived in a residential area near Craig Ranch Regional Park late Thursday night to find an 18-year-old male unresponsive on the ground with an apparent gunshot wound and a 14-year-old girl suffering from a gunshot wound.

The male was pronounced dead at the scene and the girl was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police say the 11 p.m. shooting stemmed from an argument that occurred earlier in the night and the suspect was still at large.

The male victim’s name and details about the suspect were not immediately released.
