(Las Vegas, NV) — The man accused of shooting at a Metro Police officer failed to appear in court.
Thirty-year-old Joshua Bacharach, who is being held at the Clark County Detention Center, refused to show up for a hearing Tuesday.
Justice of the Peace Eric Goodman has ordered him to appear Thursday, “by any means necessary”.
Authorities say Bacharach fired shots at officer Ryan McNabb during a car chase in the northeast valley last Thursday.
The officer fired back at the suspect, but was not hit.
Following a chase, a police K-9 unit apprehended Bacharach. He was taken to the hospital and treated for dog bites.
Bacarach was on probation for attempted theft at the time of the incident.
