LAS VEGAS (AP) — O.J. Simpson’s feuding former Las Vegas trial lawyers have settled a breach-of-contract lawsuit in Nevada federal court and a slander claim in Florida state court, leaving one dispute remaining between the imprisoned former football star’s ex-lawyer from Miami and one of his current attorneys in Nevada.
Terms of the June 4 and May 29 agreements weren’t disclosed.
They settled back-and-forth lawsuits involving attorneys Yale Galanter of Miami and Gabriel Grasso and Joshua Tomsheck of Las Vegas.
The result leaves Galanter still pressing a defamation case against Simpson attorney Malcolm LaVergne of Las Vegas.
Galanter alleged that his reputation in the Florida legal community was harmed by comments LaVergne made in April 2012 about Grasso’s allegations that Galanter failed to pay him promised legal fees in the Simpson case in Nevada.
