(LAS VEGAS, KXNT)–A man sought in the hit and run incident that seriously injured an 11 year old boy has turned himself into police.
Rodrigo Tomax, 25, had been sought after a Honda Civic jumped the curb and struck the youngster on a sidewalk on East Bonanza near Eastern on Monday night.
The car was later found, and Metro issued a public appeal for help Tuesday to locate the driver.
The 11 year old remained in an intensive care unit at a hospital. A 20 year old woman, a passenger in Tomax’s car, was slightly injured.
Tomax has been cited for failing to remain at the scene of an injury accident.
