(LAS VEGAS, KXNT)–The Clark County County Fire Department says its investigating a bonfire in which several people suffered burns.
Investigators say it was a group of high school kids or young adults who built the bonfire in the desert south of Horizon Ridge Parkway in Henderson Monday night.
Somebody added flammable liquid at some point and at least seven people were burned. No fire departments or ambulance companies were called. The victims evidently were driven to hospitals in private vehicles.
The Fire Department says it will have no additional information to offer at this time, but it is investigating the circumstances.
