(LAS VEGAS, KXNT)–Metro Police have arrested the man they say shot four people, one fatally, in the parking lot of a West Flamingo Road hookah lounge parking lot May 11th.

The suspect is Preston “PJ” Emerson, who will turn 21 later this month.

Police found four people shot in the parking lot of the business when they arrived at 5:30 in the morning May 11th. One of them, Jean Claude Mombo, died of wounds to the torso. The shooting culminated an argument that had taken place inside the lounge earlier between one of the victims and a group of men and women.

The gunman fled the scene in a red SUV. A woman was driving. Detectives later learned a photographer had been taking promotional pictures inside the louge during the evening and later pinpointed photos of Emerson and a woman believed to be the getaway driver.

Brisha Phillips, who later saw her photo in news accounts, turned herself into police on May 15th and gave an account to detectives that identified Emerson as the shooter and a woman named Christal Sams as the driver of the getaway SUV.
