(Las Vegas, NV) — Southwest Airlines is giving it’s customers passing through McCarran Airport another way to speed up the boarding process.
Southwest passengers can now use electronic boarding passes at security checkpoints and at the gate. This follows testing that began in November 2013.
Southwest officials say customers traveling through all domestic cities Southwest serves will have the ability to use mobile boarding passes.
How does it work?
When checking in via Southwest’s mobile site or app, you can choose to view your mobile boarding pass in a new browser window on your phone, or have a boarding pass emailed or a text to you linking to your boarding pass.
