(LAS VEGAS, KXNT)–Metro Police will file felony hit and run and misdemeanor DUI charges against a man who struck and injured a teenager at Clark  High School Wednesday and fled the scene.

Police say they located 61 year old Ronald Martin after the incident, conducted sobriety tests and arrested him for DUI and hit and run.

A witness told police Martin’s car drove over the sidewalk on northbound Arville and struck an unidentified female student. She suffered a broken leg. T

The witness got the license plate number. Police contacted Martin’s wife, who said her husband had taken her car earlier without her permission and was drunk. Contacted by his wife and told the police were looking for him, Martin hung up on an officer but was found moments later in a parking lot outside.
