(Las Vegas, NV) — The City of Henderson needs to make some cuts, and it’s looking at making changes to parks and recreation. The public can attend a meeting tonight for more information.
The City of Henderson’s Bud Cranor says its cut 127 million dollars over the last few years, but revenue is still down. A special budget committee was put together to tackle the problem. Tonight they will present what they think needs to be done. That may include cutting hours when only a small amount of people use a facility.
Cranor says they are trying to make cuts that will impact the least amount of people.
The meeting is at 7 o’clock tonight inside council chambers on Water Street in Henderson. The public can watch the presentation, and will have a chance to speak.
