(Las Vegas, NV) — A Las Vegas Strip resort has reportedly broken ties with the Los Angeles Clippers.
Despite the NBA’s lifetime ban for owner Donald Sterling, Mandalay Bay has suspended advertising and sponsorship with the team, according to Buzzfeed.com.
The fate of a scheduled October pre-season game between the Clippers and the Denver Nuggets in Sin City is not yet known.
Mandalay Bay CEO Chuck Bowling called racial comments attributed to Sterling, “shocking and appalling.”
