(Las Vegas, NV) — Clark County’s largest union wants to restore a two-percent pay cut enacted during the recession.
Commissioners will discuss the request at Tuesday’s meeting.
It would cost up to $5 million a year to boost salaries for about 5000 Service Employee International Union workers.
SEIU officials say according to a 2011 agreement, the county agreed to restore the pay cut if it did the same for non-union workers.
Commissioners approved a two-percent pay hike for non-union employees last August.
