( Las Vegas, NV ) – Las Vegas Police are trying to find the hit-and-run driver who they say killed two people on a moped early Tuesday morning in the south valley.
The impact of the 1am crash near Las Vegas Blvd and Windmill was so severe that the scooter was stuck to the pick-up truck whose driver fled the scene.
Metro Police Sgt Richard Strader is urging the hit&run driver to come forward now, saying the consequences of leaving the scene grow as time goes by.
One victim died at the scene, the other died at the hospital.
Police also say three drunk drivers were caught at the shut-down intersection as they were investigating the fatal crash.
