(Las Vegas, NV) — The nation’s fifth-largest school district has created a anti-bullying task force.
Clark County Superintendent Pat Skorkowsky says the panel will review policies and laws, and make its recommendations to the school board in May.
The district has been criticized for its handling of last December’s suicide of an honor roll student at Henderson’s White Middle School.
The father of 13-year-old Hailee Joy Lamberth told the board last night she left a note, describing how she was being bullied by another student. Jason Lamberth says he was never notified about the situation.
He told the board Hailee “is an angel now.”
