(Las Vegas, NV)  —  The man many boxing fans call the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world could be in the worst trouble of his life.

Floyd Mayweather, Jr. is a suspect in the kidnapping and brutal beating of two men who worked for him.

TMZ reports the men informed police that Mayweather told them to meet him after they’d worked on his homes in Las Vegas.

They say the undefeated world champ claimed they’d stolen jewelry from him and that he had people beat the men so severely they were hospitalized with numerous broken bones.

The men insist they took nothing from Mayweather’s homes.
