Cirque Goes Dark For Water Awareness

(Las Vegas, NV) — ONE DROP is a non-profit organization established by Cirque du Soleil Founder Guy Laliberté and for the second time in Las Vegas a big fundraiser will be help on the strip.

Eight Cirque shows and other performers will come together for ONE DROP inside the theater at Mandalay Bay on Friday, March 21st. This event raises global awareness and funds for water related issues. Pien Koopman with ONE DROP says this water issues concern everybody. They recently were able to make a donation to the Springs Preserve.

The original production created and directed by Mukhtar O.S. Mukhtar – will take place inside the Michael Jackson ONE Theatre.The evening will feature special guests including the award-winning vocal super group The Tenors, violinist and YouTube sensation Lindsey Stirling, “America’s Best Dance Crew” Season 6 Champions IaMmE Crew, award-winning spoken word artist IN-Q and more than 100 Cirque du Soleil performers, as they bring together the message of ‘ONE THOUGHT, ONE WORLD,’ as a metaphor of time and its effect on society, for this one-night-only extravaganza.

All the Cirque shows will go dark that Friday. Tickets sales and an auction will help raise funds.
