Warrant Issued In Faked Hit n Run Death
KINGMAN, Ariz. (AP) — An arrest warrant has been issued for the father of a man convicted in the killing of a beating victim whose death was staged as a fatal hit-and-run accident.
A Mohave County Superior Court judge issued the warrant for 52-year-old Todd Sterling Tracy after he failed to appear for a hearing Monday on charges of aggravated assault and hindering prosecution.
Tracy is the father of 23-year-old Jade Sterling Tracy, who pleaded guilty last October to second-degree murder in the 2012 killing of Michael Clayton Clark.
According to the Kingman Daily Miner (http://bit.ly/1i38xLi ), Clark’s body was found on a road but authorities said it was dumped there after he was beaten elsewhere.
Authorities said Clark was beaten because he’s insulted the girlfriend of Todd Tracy, whose charges stem from the killing.
