LAS VEGAS, NV – The Las Vegas Wranglers were dealt a bad beat last night when the Colorado Eagles scored with 0.3 seconds remaining to break a 2-2 tie and effectively end the game at the Orleans Arena.

For the fifth time in six games, the Wranglers lit the lamp first when Robbie Smith scored roughly four minutes in to the game. Colorado answered back in the second period. Adam Hughesman gave the Wranglers a 2-1 lead early in the final period. But the lead wouldn’t hold when Colorado’s Mark Nemec scored with less than a second remaining to give the Eagles the win.

Next up, the Wranglers travel to Bakersfield for a Saturday night game against the Condors before the two teams return to Las Vegas to play each other again at the Orleans Arena.
