LAS VEGAS, NV – It’s hard not to get excited about next season as the Runnin’ Rebels 2014 recruiting class is being regarded as one of the best since the late 80’s.

Yesterday, Findlay Prep top prospect Rashad Vaughn announced his decision to attend UNLV in the Fall.

The 6’6″ shooting guard, who can also play point, credited coach Dave Rice’s recruiting work in helping him choose to become a Runnin’ Rebel. “With the pieces we’ve got and the team we will have next year, I feel we can win a national championship, and that was most important to me” said Vaughan.

“Mr. Showtime”, as he’s been called, wearing a bow-tie as he sat in front of a backdrop of the Las Vegas Strip, told CBS Sports Network he’s chosen UNLV over Iowa State, North Carolina, Kansas and Kentucky.
