LAS VEGAS, NV – The Runnin’ Rebels held on to win a nail-biter against the Wyoming Cowboys in front of an announced crowd of 13,863 at the Thomas & Mack Center.

UNLV led 41-34 with just under seven minutes remaining but had to hold on when the Cowboys’ Larry Nance, Jr’s 8-footer with two seconds remaining rimmed out to seal the 48-46 victory for the Runnin’ Rebels.

With the win, UNLV’s 7-4 Mountain West conference record is now tied for 3rd place with interstate rival UNR. The two teams will meet up for the final game of the year at Nevada on March 8th.

The Runnin’ Rebels next game is on the road against Utah State next Saturday.
