( Ls Vegas, NV ) – The new SLS Las Vegas resort is set to open Labor Day weekend.

That’s the word from the CEO of Los Angeles-based SBE Entertainment, which owns the former Sahara hotel on the north Strip.

The company has spent over 400-million dollars to transform the aging hotel-casino, which will feature 16-hundred rooms, an ultra-modern look, and a number of restaurants and nightclubs.

SBE purchased the Sahara in 2007, and it was shut down in 2011.
