(LAS VEGAS, KXNT)–A man convicted of burglarizing a Henderson gun store more than two years ago has received a 2-and a half year federal prison term.
Demario Edwards, 24, of North Las Vegas is the last of four men who pleaded guilty in the case. The others got prison terms ranging from 3 years to 8 and a half years. The sentence was announced by the U.S. Attorneys Office in Las Vegas.
The group drove a stolen car through the window of the store at 3 in the morning in August of 2011, stealing 21 handguns, one of them found later at Edwards apartment.
Other weapons were recovered during robbery and homicide investigations.
