Vegas Weekend

(Las Vegas, NV) — Events centering around the Super Bowl and Chinese New Year are the big draws in Las Vegas this weekend, but they’re not the only ones. At the MGM Grand Garden, Pink takes the stage tonight, and George Strait performs tomorrow night. Celine Dion makes her return to Caesars Palace’s Colosseum this weekend.

For comedy, there’s Larry the Cable Guy at the Palms, Dana Carvey at The Orleans, Tim Allen at The Venetian and Rob Schneider at the South Point.

For a football alternative, check out the Moscow Festival Ballet’s production of Cinderella tomorrow night at UNLV’s Ham Hall.

Vegas Seven columnist, Anthony Curtis, says sports books will be packed on Sunday for the Super Bowl. He says there are many parties open to the public at The Southpoint, Orleans, LVH, and Gold Coast.
