(LAS VEGAS, KXNT)–Las Vegas city council has approved a 4 month extension of an agreement with Cordish Companies aimed at building a 390 million dollar arena near Symphony Park.

The vote was 4-3 in favor, with Bob Beers, Stavros Anthony, and Bob Coffin voting no.

The Arena would be paid with private money and bond money, but there is a 52 million dollar financing gap, raising questions about who would pick up that part of the tab.
