‘Repo Games’ Gunman Testifies
LAS VEGAS (AP) — A 43-year-old gun owner is telling a Nevada jury that he feared two reality TV show crew members were going to attack him before he fired his handgun in front of his North Las Vegas home in April 2011.
Carlos Enrique Barron testified Thursday that he “panicked” and warned the men who emerged from a black “Repo Games” van in front of his driveway that he’d kill them before he drew the gun and fired three shots.
The men were with other producers filming down the street.
Barron says he shot into the air.
No one was wounded.
Prosecutors say Barron was the aggressor, and point to a bullet hole in the van.
Barron is being tried on felony assault with a deadly weapon and attempted murder charges.
