( Las Vegas, NV ) – Metro Police are looking for a sexual assault suspect who they say may have pretended to be a Cox cable worker.

A woman living in the area of Sahara and Durango on the valley’s west side told investigators the man knocked on her door at the end of last month then forced his way in and assaulted her.

He was reportedly wearing a shirt with the Cox company logo on it. The cable company says its workers don’t just show up at anyone’s home randomly.

The suspect is described as Hispanic, in his early 20s, about 5 feet 10 inches tall and approximately 210 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes, a close cropped beard and a possible scar under his right eye.

If you have any helpful information you’re asked to call the Metro Sexual Assault Detail at 702-828-3421 of CrimeStoppers at 702-385-5555.
