(Las Vegas, NV) — A consultant for UNLV’s proposed on-campus stadium says he will provide various options for consideration.
Bill Rhoda told the eleven-member stadium panel yesterday they’ll range from simple open air stadiums, to retractable roof arenas that could cost at least one-billion dollars.
UNLV is working with local casinos to find consensus on a stadium that will benefit both the university and tourists.
Rhoda says he’ll deliver his final report by the end of September.
The stadium board will then present its recommendations to the Legislature.
