(Las Vegas, NV) — UNLV’s Nursing program ranked among the top 10 percent of online graduate degrees by U.S. News & World Report. The “Masters of Science in Nursing” program ranked 10th out of 130 surveyed online programs.
Carolyn Yucha, the Dean for the School of Nursing, says they’ve been running the program for years. She says it’s not easy, you have to be driven. Yucha says nursing is a field that still needs good people. Nurse Practitioners are in demand and there’s a shortage of Nurse Educators.
This is the second time UNLV School of Nursing has appeared among the list’s top 20 programs. U.S. News & World Reported started ranking online programs in 2012.
