(Las Vegas, NV) — The Southern Nevada Health District reports the flu has claimed the lives of the people in Southern Nevada.
The deaths were reported as two middle-aged, and one elderly person.
Officials say it is not too late to get immunized.
The SNHD’s chief health officer, Dr. Joe Iser, says the deaths serve as a stark reminder of how serious the flu can be and underscore the importance of getting a flu shot each year.
