Assailants Sought In Weekend Shootings

LAS VEGAS (AP) — Police are looking for one or more assailants after a weekend triple shooting left one man dead and two people wounded in the parking lot outside a lounge west of the Las Vegas Strip.

Las Vegas police Officer Bill Cassell says patrol officers in the area heard multiple gunshots before finding the three people wounded a little after 4 a.m. Sunday at a business complex on Spring Mountain Road west of Decatur Boulevard.

The man died a short time later at University Medical Center. His identity wasn’t immediately made public.

Police say one of the wounded people was critically injured.

The other was treated for injuries that weren’t believed to be life-threatening.

Cassell says the shooting happened while patrons were in the parking lot at closing time at the lounge.
