PHOENIX (AP) — Medical examiners say a 2-year-old girl who died last December after being at a Phoenix day care home had a high level of methamphetamine in her system.

The final medical report released Thursday listed Savannah Cross’ death as being caused by multiple traumatic injuries, acute methamphetamine exposure and dehydration.

Authorities say 27-year-old Ryan Alan Reed was re-arrested in November after new forensic details showed he allegedly molested the girl.

Reed and a 28-year-old woman ran the home day care.

Authorities say Savannah was placed in the day care for weeks and months at a time by her mother, who was an erotic dancer.

Savannah was taken to a Phoenix hospital, where she later died.

During an examination at the hospital, authorities say physicians found bruises all over the girl’s body.
