(Carson City, NV)  —  Nevada businesses will be saving some money next year.

State Employment Security Division administrator Renee Olson has lowered the average unemployment tax, saving firms about $71 per employee.

The agency recently sold over $600-million in bonds, to pay back the federal government for money it borrowed to pay jobless benefits during the recession.
