( Las Vegas, NV ) – The wind didn’t pick up like it was supposed to in southern Nevada Monday night, but the National Weather Service says it’s still coming.

A Wind Advisory starts at 10 Tuesday morning, with gusts up to 50mph  possible, followed by the big chill.

It’s a High Wind WARNING for the Mt Charleston area where winds could reach speeds of 60mph.

A Winter Storm Warning has been posted for mid-day up in Lincoln County to the north of us…

The National Weather Service has also issued a Hard Freeze Watch starting Tuesday night and running all the way into Saturday morning.

The lows expected in the upper 20s will be the coldest temps around these parts since the first of the year.
