A WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM NOW THROUGH MIDNIGHT PST TONIGHT.

A HARD FREEZE WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM WEDNESDAY EVENING THROUGH
SATURDAY MORNING.

* LOCATIONS: THE LAS VEGAS VALLEY…YUCCA VALLEY…MORONGO
VALLEY…BAKER…PAHRUMP…MESQUITE…LAKE MEAD NATIONAL
RECREATION AREA…LAUGHLIN…BULLHEAD CITY…KINGMAN AS WELL
AS INTERSTATES 15 AND 40 ACROSS THE REGION.

* WINDS: SOUTHWEST 30 TO 40 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 45 TO 55 MPH
POSSIBLE.

* TIMING: WINDS WILL INCREASE THROUGH THE DAY…PEAK TUESDAY AFTERNOON AND
EVENING…THEN DECREASE LATER.

* WIND IMPACTS: STRONG WINDS CAN MAKE DRIVING DIFFICULT…
ESPECIALLY FOR MOTORCYCLES AND HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES. IN
ADDITION… STRONG WINDS OVER DESERT AREAS COULD RESULT IN
BRIEFLY LOWERED VISIBILITIES TO WELL UNDER A MILE AT TIMES
IN BLOWING DUST OR BLOWING SAND. USE EXTRA CAUTION WHILE
TRAVELING.

* LOW TEMPERATURES: UPPER TEENS TO LOW 30S WEDNESDAY NIGHT THROUGH
SATURDAY MORNING.

* FREEZE IMPACTS: PROTECT SENSITIVE PLANTS…EXPOSED IRRIGATION
PLUMBING MAY BE DAMAGED AND PETS MAY SUFFER IF LEFT OUTDOORS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

A WIND ADVISORY MEANS THAT CROSSWINDS ARE EXPECTED TO BE STRONG
ENOUGH TO MAKE DRIVING DIFFICULT…ESPECIALLY FOR HIGH PROFILE
VEHICLES. IN ADDITION…STRONG WINDS OVER DESERT AREAS COULD RESULT
IN BRIEFLY LOWERED VISIBILITIES TO WELL UNDER A MILE AT TIMES IN
BLOWING DUST OR BLOWING SAND. USE EXTRA CAUTION.

A HARD FREEZE WATCH MEANS SUB-FREEZING TEMPERATURES ARE POSSIBLE.
THESE CONDITIONS COULD KILL CROPS AND OTHER SENSITIVE VEGETATION.
