Police Planning ‘Black Friday Blitz’ To Crackdown On Crime
SANTA FE, N.M. (AP) — Santa Fe Police are planning an aggressive crackdown on “Black Friday” crime.
City officials say extra officers will be working overtime Friday to patrol malls, popular retail stores and Santa Fe’s Historic Plaza.
Authorities say officer will be looking for suspicious activity in an attempt to prevent burglaries and shoplifting.
Police say undercover officers will conduct various operations.
There will also be multiple undisclosed DWI checkpoints and saturation patrols throughout the weekend.
