(Las Vegas, NV) — Former Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman says November 22, 1963 is a “sad day to remember”. That is the day that President John F. Kennedy was fatally wounded. Goodman tells the KXNT Morning News he was a law student in Philadelphia, riding an elevator to the law office where he worked when he heard the news.
Goodman says he was in a state of shock and felt the country would have no tomorrow. He credits the public courage of Jackie Kennedy with pulling the country out of the depths of despair as people rallied around her.
Does he believe in the conspiracy theories ? The attorney says investigators never came up with anything to prove Oswald didn’t act alone but how does one person take out the President from a book depository.
