( Las Vegas, NV ) – One of the valley’s favorite charities is asking you to watch out.

One of their biggest fundraisers of the year has been the victim of a scam.

We’re talking about the Magical Forest at Opportunity Village.

The non-profit provides jobs for the intellectually challenged and they turn their West Oakey campus into a Christmas wonderland every year, charging admission for folks to wander through dozens of trees decorated with hundreds of thousands of lights and a real train that takes visitors on a ride around the forest.

But this year they reported 600 tickets to the event were stolen and being sold at half-price. One of the driving forces behind Opportunity Village, Linda Smith, says they can’t honor those tickets and that she feels bad for anyone who got scammed.

The Magical Forest opens this Friday and will be open every evening through January 6th. Find out about Opportunity Village and The Magical Forest by clicking here.
